I have been with Tech Fleet for about 1 year working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment in order to build important digital products for clients and stakeholders. Examples include a social connection and resource site for LGBTQ+ and other marginalized African communities, as well as an app that would help stay-at-home parents reenter the workforce after long periods out of the professional world.
Before Tech Fleet I worked with freelance clients and nonprofits as a UX researcher and interaction designer, strategizing ways to improve their online presence to give users value and help clients reach their business goals. I often times implemented these improvements, or created sites from scratch, as well.
Accomplishments include:
🦆 Spearheading an e-commerce redesign project, improving sales and broadening the audience reached.
🦩 Overhauling a nonprofit’s site navigation through quantitative research improving user flow and efficiency.
🦢 Changing a large team’s direction from focusing on material resources to emotional support through qualitative research and talking to the user community directly.
🦦 Creating and implementing a basic design system to improve wire framing efficiency and consistency.
🦀 Conducting many usability tests in order to improve sites or prototypes.
